Our Family restaurant
We first met years ago while working for the Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin, Ireland and we joined our lives on a personal and professional level. After our extensive experiences around the world, we felt the need to settle down together and start to fulfill our own dreams. Our roots go back to Prague and to the Italian region of Lombardy, therefore choosing to open an Italian Restaurant in Prague was an easy choice for us; and so in July 2012 Casa De Carli was born. We believe in hard work, creativity and fresh quality ingredients. All this combined with our experience and enthusiasm gives great promise for the future.

I came a long way from Italy, where I was born in Varese, via Geneva, Four Seasons Hotel Dublin, opening Bice Mare Restaurant in Dubai and being the executive chef of Cipriani in New York. I gained unique experience of different cultures and cuisines of the world, which culminated in fulfillment of my dream - opening my own restaurant in the city very close to my heart, in Prague.
My professional career was launched in Prague and, after obtaining a degree from Cornell University in the field of Hospitality Management, it went through major hotel chain Four Seasons in Washington D.C. and later in Dublin, where I met Matteo. After living together in Ireland for over four years, I followed Matteo to Dubai, where I worked for Jumeirah Beach Hotel so he follows me later back to the States, to New York City, where I was offered position of General Manager of the five-star Library Hotel. From there it was a short step for the fulfillment of a shared vision, a private restaurant of our own in the heart of Prague with immodest ambition to offer the best food and service in town.
